Naomi Osaka on her Wimbledon Kimono: "The kimono... we had to get it from Japan... there's this anime called Bleach. It's one of my favorites. I don't want to bore you, but anyway, I feel like I'm channeling a character from that whenever I wear the kimono in that way." -The Tennis Letter

If Kubo offered to write Aizen’s backstory would you want it? Or do you prefer that he stay a complete mystery and enigma

Theory: Aizen doesn't have Bankai and it's not a plot convenience, it's character

  1. Every Soul Reaper begins with an Asauchi (a blank Zanpakutō). Over time, the Soul Reaper pours their own spiritual pressure and soul into it, causing it to become a unique Zanpakutō. A Zanpakutō is therefore a reflection of its wielder's soul and develops a personality heavily influenced by them

  2. The zanpakto has a conscience and personality. This personality is highly influenced by that of the user of the zanpakto. traits of the user are transferred to their zanpakto.

  3. For a soul reaper to achieve bankai, their zanpakto must submit to them and wholeheartedly accept them as its master.

  4. A very core trait of Aizen is that he never submits to anything, he wants complete freedom, he even states that his life's purpose has always been to extinguish those who try to control him. He doesn't want himself to be subjugated by anyone or anything. Not even the cornerstone of the reality he lives in , the soul king. he will go against the very laws of his reality and Universe and decide for himself how the world should be.

This is Aizen's most central and his strongest trait, which influences his every decision and action.

  1. His zanpakto has this trait too.So kyoka suigetsu will also never submit to anyone, not even Aizen. As a zanpakto is a separate entity from the soul reaper. And since bankai can be achieved after the zanpakto fully acknowledges the user completely as its master Aizen cannot achieve it Because kyoka suigetsu will never acknowledge a master. Aizen understands this , he knows his zanpakto will never submit to him because he himself will never submit to anyone. Therefore Aizen cannot achieve bankai.

  2. Another thing is that Aizen doesn't trust anyone and sees trust as a weakness, a lack in one's own capabilities. Ichigo said Aizen and his zanpakto seemed very disconnected. His zanpakto has probably this same trait and thinking. So kyoka suigetsu does not trust Aizen, it sees Aizen as more of an associate.

So with the kyoka suigetsu not trusting Aizen and not willing to acknowledge him as its master, Aizen cannot achieve bankai.

You can pick a random handful of characters to be pulled into and trapped in Hell with Ichigo during the Hell Arc - Who would you pick?

I have a feeling that in the Hell Arc, Ichigo and a random handful of characters will be pulled into and trapped in Hell while the others try to enter Hell to rescue them and seal Hell up again.

This would be a change up form the SS and Arrancar Arcs where Ichigo was the one rescuing someone else taken into a foreign world.

Who would you like to see in Ichigo's party of random characters in Hell?

They can be anyone from the series, as long as they're still alive.

Personally I would like to see Isane Kotetsu be one of them.

What about you?

Since hollows, quincys, and shinigami aren't able to be seen by normal humans, does that mean they could just steal from a store or something without being seen?

Like yeah they could see the items and stuff

does Ichigo have any obligations?

as stated by Byakuya, Ichigo does not belong in Soul Society, he's a human.

he also isn't part of the Gotei 13, so he doesn't fall under Shunsui's commands.

however he's still a Shinigami, so in case of a war like it has already happened several times, does Ichigo have to fight due to his position as a Shinigami, or is he free to do whatever?

So, we all agree this killed at least one Hollow, right? There's no way not a single one was caught in the blast, even accidentally.

What do you want to see from Orihime in the hell arc? What are you expecting for her?

This Bankai bored me so much I fell asleep

I was rewatching cour 3 and I had a blast with all first 8 episodes, but when I got to this one, like a minute into the Bankai I literally went 😴

Seriously will never be able to understand the hype this gets. I know it's supposed to be some Japanese theatre stuff but fr, I don't care about any of that.

The previous ep. with Kenpachi being a dumbass and Mayuri doing all kinds of insane sht was funnier

Who gave Orihime the best outfit, Aizen or Urahara?

The rivalry between the two extends to the world of fashion.

How was Urahara receiving shipments from the SS? Wasn't he exiled from the SS? It seemed like he was still working with the SS in Substitute Shinigami arc Or was Mayuri the one sending him the shipments?

Could Hell be located on the opposite side of Hueco Mundo's planet - the side with eternal burning day light? ☀️🌏🌒

It is always night in Hueco Mundo, which means that the planet it's on is tidally locked and does not rotate.

But since the moon in Hueco Mundo always has a shadow cast on it, that means there MUST BE a sun casting the shadow and there MUST BE a side of the planet which is always day time.

So Hueco Mundo is always dark and cool.

And the other side is always bright and hot..

Could Hueco Mundo have been created by encroaching on the world Hell resides in?

So there are not "Three Worlds + Hell".
There are only Three Worlds.

And to add to this, Kubo recently said that the Quincy afterlife is located "somewhere close to Hell"... So could it be on the equator between Hueco Mundo and Hell..?

What do you think?
