Renting a Car first time, please tell me what insurance to get?
Hello Everyone,
I will be renting car from Enterprise which I booked using Booking.com . This would me my first time ever renting a car, I wanted to ask some questions.
Here are my questions:
- Should I be calling the shop to ensure they will have the car available ahead of time? (I requested 7 seater, very important for my trip)
- What insurance should I be purchasing to cover myself from small scratches and scuffs that may happen on the road?
FYI - I have collision and comprehensive from Geico w/ $1000 deductible that would cover rental. I also have Chase card which can cover up to $60,000 for covered theft or collision damage. OR I can purchase Collision Damage from Booking.com for $24 up to $30K
- Anything else I should be aware of as a 26 year old renter? (Extra charge/insurance, etc)
