Anyone have a 6 fig remote job that has low hours?

Hi, I'm looking for a remote role that isn't high pressure but can get away with working like 20 hours a week. Maybe something project based. Does something like that exist where it's really flexible and you just need to submit something? I'm in a high pressure tech job and I have 15+ years of experience. Is there any job that pays well but since I have tons of experience I'd pick a 'lower level' and get the job done in 1/2 of the time and still get the insurance benefits?

Curious if anyone here has something like that. If you make 6 figs remote AND work <30 hours a week can you please share:

  1. what do you do?

  2. what's your comp

  3. How many hours you work?

  4. What did you do before taking this role?

  5. Does it pay insurance?

Any in coastfire left a PM or tech job?

I would be really interested to hear if you are currently doing coast fire and have moved away from your high paying product management or tech job.

Really want to know:

  1. What was the highest role level / TC you were at before moving to coastfire
  2. What do you do now and TC and why?
  3. How does it feel? Pros cons?
  4. Does your new Role have health insurance?

I am thinking about going to Coast fire but I just don’t know what to do. Currently a product manager in a high paying role.

Should I have a 3rd kid? Single income (me) in tech role

We are currently a single income family in a VHCOL city. I do well enough to support us all. We have 2 little kids now and I work in a high income role remotely. We’re finally getting the hang of 2 kids. I never imagined having a 3rd but I’ve always wanted a large family. But who knew I’d be the sole breadwinner at this point.

2 options:
Option 1: Stay at my current job (but it is becoming boring/not mentally stimulating and no upward mobility). But maybe I’ll have a 3rd kid? If so I will probably flatline my career trajectory as I think this is the peak I’ll hit (would be hard to bounce back and climb the ladder if I leave again on Mat leave). And with 3 kids I wouldn’t work as many hours to boost my career- I will flatline and do something unfulfilling for myself to have the 3rd kid and give the kids enough attention and time. And I will need to work longer instead of my wish to retire early.

Or
Option 2: stay at 2 kids- we can finally go on vacations again. And I can focus on my career and make some big moves in the next few years. Maybe even retire early- but I could take some risks with only the financial burden of 2 kids vs 3. Id be able to enjoy life again and put myself first (career and ego-wise I have worked so hard to get to where I’m at, I don’t know if I’m ready to flat line).

I know I’m blessed and lucky to be in this position. But a working mom with 3 kids and no village is not the same as a working dad with 2 kids and a SAHM. My husband is having some health issues so won’t go back to work soon. He’s also… not the most emotionally intelligent or academic guy. He’s great with teaching the kids sports and cooking and housework but if I want my kids academically smart it’s all me.

I also hear people say “if I are thinking about a 3rd kid just do it, you won’t regret it”. But also I’m older now.. I have 2 healthy kids what if my 3rd has a health condition or something that changes the course of my financial security and future retirement plans?

Any other working moms in a high pressure breadwinner single income job who has this dilemma? I am not getting younger. What if I regret it? I’d love to hear any stories or POV.
