Ellensburg Washington Sighting

Location: Ellensburg, Washington State
Back in September 12th of 2024 I was out at a park in Ellensburg, Washington with two of my friends. We were sitting outside looking up at the Aurora Borealis that was visible that night. The skies were insanely clear as they often are in Central WA as opposed to Western WA. While looking up we saw a Black Triangle the size of a football field directly above us and slowly gliding from the north to the south. It had zero lights on (I see many report seeing lights on corners) but we could tell the color of the craft due to how bright the sky was with the Aurora Borealis. It also couldn’t have been that far from the ground though it was hard to tell how close it was.
After about 10 - 12 seconds of viewing it gliding south it disappeared entirely as if it vanished from reality. Me and my friends were shaken, but I was also fascinated. I’ve tried looking into the subject and it wasn’t until just now that I thought I may want to share my experience.
I don’t understand what I saw that night and I would appreciate if others could share what they may understand on this subject, or similarities in their own sightings. Though the child within me that is fascinated with Sci-fi wants it to be aliens I’m understanding this may be natural phenomena or something man made.
I’m open to answer any questions regarding what I saw.
Important context: Ellensburg is very close to the Yakima Training Facility so it may be military
