No, I’m not fixing it. I do need to iron it though.

Ma’am, you can’t sit on the stage

Thankfully she’s friendly to all the other birds. On another note, it’s really nice to see all the youngins coming into their colors and grown up cloths.

Gravity Quilt - trying to find the original layer cakes

I’m finally getting around to starting my Gravity quilt. And while I love the Stonehenge BOM that came out last year, I’m trying to find the names of the original Kona Ten Squares. Any ideas? I’ve image searched them, but no real luck so far. Thanks!

Made 2, one for each of my kids. Happy Pride!

Just jelly roll strips made these pride flags for both of my T kids. And while they already know that they have my love and support, it never hurts to remind them. These strips are from the Be-You-Tiful line from Lauren Burch.

Any point leaving an oriole feeder up if I haven’t seen any yet?

Hi, I’ve had my oriole feeder out for a little over a month. Nectar and oranges. Not a single hit on either. Is it time to take it down for the season?

I’m sure we all get a bunch of emails from quilt shops and similar vendors. I’m up to about 15 a day. I don’t mind at all as I’m always interested in what’s on sale and what’s new.

However, my LQS that I love has started using AI to create all of their email banners. As in blatant AI, no doubt about it. But I’m stuck between two thoughts. First, small businesses are fighting for every dollar, and creating sets for every email is time consuming, and time is money.

But second, I look at quilting as art and a craft where we support each other. I’ve never been part of anything else like it. The AI being used goes counter to that idea. If an art supply house was using AI, artists would be furious. The same goes for a lot of creative industries.

What do y’all think?
