Have Leica Q2 Monochrom. Does Getting a Ricoh Mono Make Sense?

I only shoot mini on film and digital. Sell me (or dissuade me) on why I should get one to augment my Q2 aside from size vs. my full frame Leica. It ain’t cheap! I have read/seen most all the reviews out there. Anybody else have a Q2 Mono along with the Ricoh Mono 4 and do you find it redundant? My fallback most of the time when not carrying my Q2 ( which is most of the time) is my iPhone 16 Pro Max as the best camera is the one you have with you “. I mostly do environmental posed street portraits when I find someone interesting.

6x8 RB 67 Pro SD S Motor Back FUBAR

This thing won’t go. It got a frame through it and not responding. I have tried new batteries but the red light indicator doesn’t light up. What am I doing wrong or is it toast? My 6xY motorized back works fine. So I just buy a new one?

What Books after Robin Hobbs?

I am new to fantasy besides having read the biggies ala George R.R. Martin, Tolkien et al.

After them I dove off into the next tier down. I find Hobbs a cut way above the other fanlit authors and just finishing up the entire Farseer series. I may be ruined for all others. I have tried some of the other fanlit authors people mention the most but they seem poorly written and need massive editing (e.g., IMHO Brian Sanderson and the 18 wheeler he used to deliver his final drafts to his publisher). And I nearly bailed on the whole genre when I started “The Thief of Time”. I arrived at the inn in Chapter 1 and left the world putting the book down.

I am preparing myself for a crash after her. I need a new obsession to read, complex non- genre - cliched characters in non-cliche’d worlds. (Do any of these writers know about anything besides fantasy medieval? “Arg ye!”) There is so much cr*p out there. Who should I read after her? Comments and specific recommendations? AI says:
