[Addon Update] StreamBridge v1.3.0 — Playback Scrobbling, Watched Status, and Library/Playlist Sync from Stremio to Emby!

I'm back with a major update to StreamBridge (v1.3.0)!
For those unfamiliar, StreamBridge is a lightweight Stremio addon that lets you stream your personal media directly from your Emby server using IMDb, TMDb, TVDb, and AniDB IDs.
Until now, StreamBridge was strictly a stream resolver. With this update, StreamBridge now syncs your activity from Stremio directly to your Emby app: your playback progress, watched states, and library bookmarks in Stremio will automatically update on your Emby server!
>Note for existing users: If you're happy with your current setup and only care about streaming, no re-install or changes are needed! If you want to enable the new playback, watched, or playlist sync features, simply reconfigure your addon.

Historically, Stremio addons were purely read-only (providing streams, subtitles, or catalog metadata). Addons had no way of knowing when you played a video, paused it, or added it to your library.
Recent updates to Stremio Core introduced native event dispatching for addons via dedicated player and library resources. StreamBridge v1.3.0 leverages these new core capabilities to listen to player progression and library actions directly inside Stremio and map them into native Emby API calls.

1. ⏱️ Playback Scrobbling to your Emby App
- Live Playback Sync: When you watch in Stremio, playback start and stop states update in your Emby app in real time.
- Automatic Watched Threshold: Finish watching a movie or episode (past 90%), and it gets marked as watched in your Emby app automatically.
2. ✅ Watched State & Season Batch Sync
- Manual Toggle Sync: Mark an item watched or unwatched in Stremio, and the status updates immediately in your Emby app.
- Batch Season Sync: Marking an entire season as watched in Stremio marks all episodes watched on Emby in one go.
3. ⭐ Stremio Library → Emby Sync (Favorites & Playlists)
When you add or remove titles in your Stremio Library, StreamBridge can now automatically mirror them in Emby. You can select either one or both of the following options if you enable sync:
- Emby Favorites Sync: Adding an item to your Stremio library can automatically mark it as a Favorite in Emby (supports both Movies and TV Shows).
- Emby Playlist Sync:
- Auto-Created Playlists: Automatically creates and sorts titles into separate playlists (default: "Stremio Movies" and "Stremio Shows").
- Custom Existing Playlists: Prefer using your own playlists? The configuration page can query your Emby server directly and let you pick your existing Emby playlists from a dropdown!
- Auto-Cleanup: Removing a title from your Stremio library automatically removes it from the Emby playlist/favorites.
⚙️ Under-the-Hood Improvements
To handle real-time events while keeping the addon fast and lightweight, several architectural improvements were made:
- 100% Stateless Architecture Maintained: StreamBridge still requires no database, no redis, and no server-side sessions. All your server configs remain encoded securely in your base64 URL.
- Improved Stream Resolving: Optimized resolver functions to reduce the number of requests sent to the Emby server, cutting down latency. You will see results showing up 1.5 to 2x faster.
- In-Memory LRU Caching: High-frequency player events (time updates) don't spam your Emby server. A newly implemented internal LRU cache resolves Emby item IDs and playlist IDs with automatic eviction to keep the memory footprint minimal.
- Controlled Batch Concurrency: Season-marking events are chunked and dispatched in small batches (capped defensively at 100 items) to prevent overwhelming your Emby server.
- Private Stream Caching: Tuned stream response caching headers (
private, max-age=120) so intermediate proxy networks never cache responses containing your personal server tokens.

⚠️ Requirements
- Public Server Access: Your Emby server must be accessible from the internet (internal IPs like
192.168.x.xorlocalhostwon't work on shared deployments). - HTTP / HTTPS:
- HTTPS works across all Stremio platforms (Desktop, Web, Mobile, TV).
- HTTP works in native Stremio apps (Desktop, Android TV, iOS), but not in Stremio Web (browser blocks mixed HTTP content on HTTPS sites).
- Direct Server Credentials: Use your server username and password (not Emby Connect email/password).

- Check the new Playback & Library Sync options to your preference.
