As a Cancer sun, people expect me to be a cry baby, or easily triggered by certain scenarios. For example…a former friend of mine used to call me heartless and weird because movies like the notebook don’t make me cry. In fact, a few people have said that to me directly. It always made me laugh because that’s not something to get me to cry over. I’m not necessarily a lover girl or sensitive to things like that; Old people die… people in love die.. the couple had a good long life together despite the rough start. I felt it was satisfying that they were able to be together, not that it was worth crying over.
However, when The Magicians was still on the air and the episode where a main character sacrificed themselves to save their friends and then when he was in the underworld he asked another friend if he finally found an excuse to finally kill themselves or if he really was saving his friends… [Mind you, this was after he was told by an "elder" that he was no one special] I BAWLED my eyes out… (I still bawl my eyes out btw, even years later) and I got told I was weird and it wasn’t a big deal.
So I'm supposed to cry over a old couple dying together in a nursing home... but having emotions over someone who struggles mentally and died to save their friends is dumb? OK.
They were a pisces.
