What to look for fake spotting? - Tang Jacket

I'm looking into buying a Tang Jacket, but they haven't released officially in Mexico, the US stores don't ship them here and there are a bunch of fakes.

So what do I look for when examining one on hand? I figure the logo on the front, the quality of the tags, some people even say the smell. But if any of you have any specific advice for this jacket I'd really appreciate it. For example, I would like a green colored one, was that color available in the initial Asia launch or only in the reissue? Some other posts claim the tag arrangements change depending on the year. Is there a combination of color/tag that I should be wary of? They're supposedly new, should there be some markings on the clear plastic bag they come in?

I've narrowed my options to a few brick and mortar sneaker shops that seem to be at least 5 years old, have good reputation and a big social media presence. From talking to one of them through social media they claim their items are genuine and that most of their inventory they get from StockX. I've been burned before buying online through there, so I figure it isn't a guarantee, specially when it's just the store's word.

Most of what I've seen on the sub doesn't give that much information and some comments don't even elaborate when saying a fake is "so obvious". Hopefully this post can stay up and give out some useful information for anyone looking.

Stylish, long lasting jeans?

I really don't think much when buying jeans. I window shop often and whenever I need clothes I just grab a pair I like in my size so I don't have a preferred brand or model. However, specifically with jeans, I've been having a problem that leads me to buy more than was usually the norm.

They seem to rip on me way more often in the last 5 years, always on the inseam near the crotch.

I initially blamed the use of elastic blend in the jeans and still think that it's partly true. But it's been way harder to find 100% cotton with good thread quality jeans in good styles lately. So I'm finally caving and prioritizing style over blend composition, but also don't want to keep buying new jeans every 5 months (worst offenders were some Uniqlo jeans that lasted 3 weeks. Now I completely avoid that brand, at least in pants).

So what are your favorite jeans? How's the durability? Any others you're aware of that may adhere to this?
