Internship in Geneva - Marketing

Hi everyone!

I’m a 27y year old girl who is searching for an internship in hospitality marketing in Geneva.

That’s been really tough because all internships require you to be a student or recent graduate. What about people who want to slightly change their career path?

I’m already working in hospitality in the commercial department (revenue, bizdev) in Valais and my dream is to move to Geneva and start a marketing/branding path but it seems impossible.

Do you have any suggestions besides to start a master degree?

I would love to but it means I would have to wait for another year to start my master in Lausanne (Master in Management with a specialization in Marketing - as I can see it is the only one suitable with my aspirations)

I’m a bit lost. How can I continue growing in Geneva?

I speak English (C1) and French (C1)

Thank you in advance

Smile Pro after one month - My honest and positive review

It’s been a month today!!! Only now am I starting to truly feel grateful and for sure it’s one of the best decisions of my life!!

I know how important it is to read positive and encouraging experiences, because I went through this myself very recently. So I took a little time now to come back and share how it went for me.

I had eyesight issues for almost 20 years. I hated glasses so for 10 years I wore only contact lenses.

Before the surgery I had mild myopia (-4.50 and -6.25) and light astigmatism(0.5). I decided to do the Smile Pro eye laser surgery and I’m really happy with the results.

Recovery Phase:

For about 3 weeks, I had doubts. One eye felt clearer than the other, I noticed some glare, I felt some pressure in one eye, the dryness was proeminent, halos, the “cream” sensation in one eye specifically. This part can be mentally stressful if you overthink it.

These symptoms stopped after I finished the steroid eye drops treatment I had for 3 weeks.

Now exactly one month later, everything settled. My eyes adjusted and the nerves healed.

I still feel like my eyes get tired if I spend all day on my computer or phone, but that’s normal. I know I’m putting too much strain on them and I’m aware of it. I still use artificial tears but I don’t necessarily feel like I need them during the day but my doctor prescribed them three times a day.

If you’re planning to go for it – invest in a good surgeon. Don’t try to save money when it comes to your eyes. It’s absolutely worth doing it properly. Make sure she/he has experience and really know the technique. Do your research.

I was extremely anxious at first and up until the surgery, I changed my mind dozens of times.

I’m beyond grateful.

More clarity ?

Hi. Now at 15 days post smile pro I do still have some astigmatism:

OS 0.0 cyl 0.0
OD 0.0 cyl -0.25

To note that I have perfect vision in the eye where I had higher prescription…

Cornea is healed. Artificial tears don’t really help with that.

My question is: is it real for OD to go to more sharp and clear?
I can tell the difference during the day

Thanks.

12 days post Smile Pro🌀👀

Hello ☺️

Today I am 12 days post-op after my SMILE Pro procedure.

My right eye, which ironically had a lower prescription than my left eye, is still seeing quite poorly. It feels blurry, like there’s a haze or a smudge and it can’t seem to focus properly. It also gets very dry and starts to sting if I don’t blink frequently.

On the other hand, my left eye sees much better, almost perfectly. 🙏🏼 I can really notice the difference between the two eyes during the day.

I’m starting to feel a little worried. Is this something that is normal during the healing process, or is it something that should be checked more closely?

Feeling pretty today🩷

My makeup look of today.
I love discovering new products.
Still trying to learn how to use eyeshadows and which colors would suit me best. Do you have any recommendations on that? Thanks🌞
