Zflip6 questions from an Android Newb
Hi, appreciate greatly if anyone can help. Just switched from iPhone and decided to get a refurbished zflip6. A few questions that Bixby and google couldn't solve for me:
When the phone is folded OPEN, what's the best unlock procedure? What I want to do is quickly unlock the phone then swipe up to search for an app and then launch said app. On my iPhone faceid unlocks it and I swipe up and I'm off to the races. On the zflip6, I open the phone, it fumbles around trying to match my face, then I do the thumbprint which unlocks the phone, but then I am stuck on this weird "extended unlock" screen and if I swipe up from the bottom I get Samsung pay and if I click the thumbprint button it just locks the phone again and I don't know what to do to get a satisfying unlock experience.
My second question is similar but related to the cover screen. I also find myself here using the fingerprint button together with clicking it. This seems to work most of the time, but I have this nagging feeling that I'm doing it wrong because sometimes it doesn't unlock at all OR my extra click on the button locks the screen and makes it go black which is the exact opposite thing I intended.
Should I just delete all the samsung apps and go with the Google apps for things like sms/calendar or try to use the Samsung ones as much as possible?
Same question re Gemini or Bixby? Do I abandon Bixby forever and go with gemeni, or OK google?
