We hit $17 pre-market on bully news: POET Technologies enters $50 million supply deal with Lumilens for AI optics
POET and Lumilens announced a joint development and supply agreement around a new Electrical-Optical Interposer platform, or EOI, for AI optical networking. Lumilens placed an initial $50 million purchase order for POET’s EOI-based optical engines, and the relationship could scale to $500+ million over five years. POET also granted Lumilens warrants to buy up to 22.9 million POET shares at $8.25, with most of those warrants vesting only as Lumilens makes cumulative payments toward future purchase orders.

Is this a significant indication of POET validation or what do we think? 50 to 500 M PO sounds serious enough, could 15 USD be our new price floor?
POET rocketed 15% and climbing on pre-market! Shooting from $14 to $15 to $16 as I type this, damn!
I´ve been holding a nice share (only 120 shares or so but far more than a speculative moonshot position should hold in my portfolio, since last year because I had a gut feeling about POET. Bought in around $4, averaged up to $6.30, I sold off a small portion this week at $14 just because I didn´t trust this seemingly reason-less rise, and admittedly I was preparing to sell off another handful this morning just as the green arrows start hitting my screen! But I´m a new investor who knows not very much at all.
What are your thoughts on this? Anyone familiar with Lumilens?
