Story of François Dumat (my OC)
François Frédéric Jean-Charles Dumat was born on May 25, 1777 in Étretat, France, into a fairly modest family. He did not participate in the revolution. He joined the navy in 1797. He was fascinated by Napoleon and supported several of his actions. He participated in the Mediterranean Campaign of 1798.
He participated in the Battle of Trafalgar. In 1808 François joined the Marine de la Garde Impériale. François remained loyal to Napoleon, following him to Russia where he participated in the Battle of Borodino. He went to the Berezina River and luckily crossed the bridge before someone blew it up. He managed to return to France without having any interaction with the cannibals. He sees his family without knowing that it will be the last time he sees them. François returns to his ship, tasked with bombarding port cities, and while he and his comrades are replenishing supplies in Jutland, they discover the cannibals. While on the ship, he learns that his father died in a horde of cannibals and that his mother died of scurvy on a ship bound for the United States. François is currently on his ship in the vicinity of the Bay of Biscay.
