I feel like we’ve been waiting so long for a Bond casting update that, at this point, any news feels positive. However, I do have some reservations. Amazon is such an enormous corporate machine, and it seems like they operate on very tight schedules. I imagine they have a firm deadline by which someone has to be cast in the role, regardless of how suitable they are. I know all films work to deadlines, but Amazon’s corporate, production-line mentality does make me a little concerned. Thoughts?
