How do you prepare for IGNOU MSc Geography Term End Exams without a specific syllabus?

I am currently pursuing MSc Geography from Indira Gandhi National Open University, and my Term End Exams are approaching soon.
One thing I find difficult with IGNOU is that they do not clearly specify which exact topics or chapters are important for the exams. Unlike many universities, there is no detailed exam-oriented syllabus saying “study these specific topics from this chapter,” which makes preparation confusing.
For those who have already completed MSc Geography from IGNOU or are currently studying:

•How do you prepare effectively for the TEE exams?

•Do you study the entire blocks/books line by line?

•Are previous year questions enough to identify important topics?

•How important are assignments for preparation?

•Is there any strategy to filter out the most important portions?

I would really appreciate guidance from seniors or anyone experienced with IGNOU exams because the syllabus feels very vast and unstructured right now.

ASUS ROG Strix G15 screen stays black after boot😭

Guys, I really need some advice.

I bought an ASUS ROG Strix G15 in 2023. It worked perfectly fine from 2023 until 2025, but then I started facing an issue where the laptop would power on with the keyboard lights and charging indicators working normally, but the screen would stay completely black.

At first, I searched online and found a YouTube video suggesting that the issue could be related to the keyboard connection. I tried disconnecting and reconnecting the keyboard cable, and surprisingly the display started working again. However, it was clearly not a permanent fix.

Later, I asked for advice in some Telegram tech groups. Initially, I planned to take the laptop to an ASUS service center, but many people warned me that service centers often diagnose it as a motherboard failure and immediately recommend a full motherboard replacement, which can cost around ₹30k–₹40k.

Instead, people suggested taking it to a professional local repair shop. I went to a trusted repair technician I knew personally, and they told me there was an issue on the motherboard which they repaired. After that, the laptop worked completely fine again for quite a while.

Unfortunately, the exact same issue has recently started happening again.

I spoke to people in those Telegram groups once more, and many of them said that this appears to be a common issue or manufacturing defect with some ASUS ROG laptops. According to them, ASUS has repaired this issue free of charge for several users, even in some out-of-warranty cases.

My concern is that since I already had the laptop repaired once at a local repair shop, ASUS might refuse to help me now.

Does anyone here have experience with a similar situation? Is there still any chance ASUS would consider repairing it, or will they reject it because of the previous third-party repair?

Any advice would be appreciated.
