Anyone else taking the plunge into custom textile packaging for fragile goods?

I've been in the textile packaging biz for 8 years and learned pretty quickly that woven cotton wraps outperform bubble wrap for glassware—no static, and clients love to repurpose them as dust covers. I recently came across a fab hack on Instagram where one brand lines their shipping boxes with quilted fabric scraps instead of using foam. Love it! I also finally got around to grabbing sample rolls of quilted fabric wrap off Alibaba (not bad quality for the price)... however, here is where I'm facing challenges: how exactly do you seal these fabric packs without using any plastic tape? Stitches take too long and the glue I tried just tears the fibers!!!! I'd love to know if you’ve seen any fun DIY tricks with fabric? Or low-waste closure for oddly shaped products?

Survival genre

I think we should have more movies, much better than those, series focusing on survival just like how The Walking Dead and Fear The Walking Dead intended.

A good slowburn actually makes it very investing to follow the characters and their character buildup and development. It's kinda hard to find pieces like that but I'd be to open recommendations if any.

I want something that can take days to complete rather havinf all of the survival and action jam packed into one 3 hour piece or something

What’s up! How’ve you been?

I’m doing alright you know. I’m trying to remember that TikTok of @InayatAutoTechnician you told me about. He was loosening the pivot bolt on a spring loaded serpentine belt tensioner and moving the belt to the side to access the idler. The trick was shimming the wear pad between the bracket and accessory mount so the whole assembly wouldn’t sway back and forth and squeak during use.

You called it something, but I forget the name. How do you combine a spring loaded automatic serpentine belt tensioner with nylon anti-friction sliders? I got parts off of Alibaba to rebuild the transmission on my CNC router without any issues!
