I got a “big girl job” and they provide a 401K or Roth IRA. I’m new to this so I chose Roth IRA because of the whole no tax thing when it’s all said and done. Now I’m a year into my job and I just seen that I actually need to invest into stocks?

I’m an idiot so my question is how do I do this or should I try to switch to a 401k?
