Phantom 2.0 52v

Purchased Apollo Phantom 2.0 52v from their website.

Delivered with:

  1. E3 message. Scooter glitches. Loses throttle. Drains battery when parked. Waiting for parts & repair.
  2. Faulty loose latch. Big safety issue. They sent me a new one.
  3. Suspension that squeals all the time.

I’ve owned multiple brands of scooters. Never any issues besides wear & tear.

Support is helpful & trying to problem solve. But this is not the experience I expected.

Is this normal for Apollo products or did they send me a random lemon?

Apollo Phantom 2.0 52v

After owning multiple cheaper scooters for my work commute & over 6,000 kilometres. I wanted a better one for commuting & fun. I looked at Teverun Fighter. Nami Klima. Kukirin G3 Pro. Segway GT3 Pro. Hard to choose. Can’t test ride any of them. I was looking for safety & better suspension on potholes. Top speed nice but not a dealbreaker. Choose Apollo for reasons:
North American brand with good support. Awesome videos on YouTube so you can do your own maintenance.
Regen brakes. Huge feature. I rarely use the disc brakes now. Only for emergency stops.
Surround Lighting is amazing. Huge improvement for night rides after work.
IP66. No worries riding in the rain. Almost bought Kukurin but they have no rain protection.
Choose Phantom for the larger tires. Thought it would help with potholes vs Segway G3 Max & ZT3 Pro I own.
Couldn’t decide between 52v & 60v. Care more about range & good suspension. The City 2.0 might have been a better choice but not out till next season.

BUT Suspension sucks. Even with larger tires. Need to buy some aftermarket air or hydraulic 125mm & fix suspension rattles & creaks so my neck doesn’t feel like it’s breaking on potholes. Bought APU13 C-wrench to adjust preload. Don’t need to remove fenders as per instructions to mod shocks.

Any recommendations. PMT tires. DNM or any other aftermarket suspension.

Thx
