I’m 17 and will be at UIUC, and I’m wondering what the social scene is like for people who aren’t 18 yet.
Is it difficult to make friends or get involved in social circles because you can’t go to bars/most 18+ or 21+ events? Are there still plenty of ways to meet people, party, and have a normal social life at that age?
Would also appreciate hearing from anyone who was under 18 when they started at UIUC and what their experience was like

I'm an incoming freshman and was hoping for some schedule feedback. Would anyone be open to advising? I am also trying to add quantum physics here, but I am waiting on my advisor to grant my Calculus 3 credit.
