I am a UK Citizen living in Scotland and forgot to change address on the HMRC site. I have been claiming SAAS as i've been a full time student. The person i share the flat with isnt.

Will i get in trouble if I Inform them now? I moved back when my course started. So far I understand as a student a pay less taxes and, of I lived with another person who is not studying it might be shared.

I just wanted to know if i'll be penalized or will be expected to pay something now. My course has just finished.
