How will they fare in a romantic relationship after all this?

I had a really big financial collapse... I had a debt of $270k since 2024, I've already paid off more than half of it.

My question is, I want to start meeting people again, what do you say? I obviously want to be honest because I already lost my ex-partner because of gambling and I was almost going to give her the ring. But I feel that despite being clean for 8 months now, there will be no way to explain my past...
