I (23F) recently got a new job post grad (finally). I make enough money to pay my rent and car payment with around <500 a month left over. My dad is constantly on my ass about when I’ll be able to pay for my diabetes supplies myself. My Dexcom supplies are like 200 every 3 months and omnipod pods are 500/month. I pay for a pretty good health insurance myself but I still can’t even keep up with paying for pods myself let alone pods and cgm stuff. To add my parents are well off. I know my dad has enough money to help me out so that I’m not living paycheck to paycheck. My question is when did you guys start paying for your supplies and how did you afford it as a young adult??
