I analyzed the top 100 automotive listings on Amazon and compared them to average Amazon listings. If you want to optimize your listing, read this.
I analyzed the top 0.01% automotive listings on Amazon and compared them to the top 6% (above average) Amazon listings.
Here's what I found, some are very shocking:
Top sellers have twice as many videos in their listings compared to average sellers.
Top sellers focus on branding, the average seller is focused on stuffing keywords in their title and telling the specs about their products.
This is one of the most surprising. I thought the ones that win on Amazon are the cheapest, but it's not, it's actually the ones that built a brand and reputation.
The top seller's bullet points focus on benefits rather than specs.
Example:
Top sellers "POWERFUL JUMP STARTER"
average seller: "3500W Peak Motor..."For bullet points, top sellers don't use emojis and brackets like this. "【bullet points】"
Both sellers use a+ contents, but the difference? Top sellers showed more lifestyle images/products being used.
while the average seller focuses on listing their product's specs.
- Top sellers maximize the character limit of bullet points, average sellers don't.
This research included 200 real brands' data, this is not guessing or opinion, this is real data.
