Amtrak 4, Southwest Chief - Eudora, KS - May 20th 2026

Running around 6h45 late, BNSF GE ES44AC 5885 leads the Southwest Chief east near Eudora, KS this morning. Amtrak P42DC 205 and 'Pepsi can' 160 should've had the honours, but BNSF was called to assist from Albuquerque for the remainder of the journey to Chicago.

138 and 151 lead the eastbound Chief at Eudora, KS, running around 4 and a half hours late. Behind the locos are a pair of 1st gen Bombardier BiLevel cars belonging to Metrolink, and at the rear of the train there were a pair of 1950s Northern Pacific 'Vista Dome' cars.
