I’m watching Dexter for the first time, and I’m currently on Season 2, Episode 6.
I absolutely loved the first season. What really hooked me was the mystery surrounding the Ice Truck Killer and the constant search for answers. I couldn’t wait to find out what would happen next.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m still enjoying Season 2, but I feel like the story has slowed down a bit and isn’t moving forward as much as I’d hoped.
Am I the only one who feels this way, or is this a common opinion? Does the pacing pick up later on?
I’ve heard that Season 4 is one of the best, but right now I’m really missing the twists, suspense, and intense mystery that made Season 1 so addictive.

Can anyone recommend shows similar to Severance? I’ve already watched Lost, and honestly, mystery shows like these are the only ones that really keep me hooked.

Estou perdendo o interesse em me relacionar com mulheres. Sinto que nenhuma realmente tem, de fato, interesse em mim como eu tenho na pessoa, de querer investir tempo e carinho.
Não sou um cara feio e tenho um físico bem acima da média — treino e faço dieta há 6 anos. Já tive interações e fiquei com mulheres consideradas bonitas, mas nenhuma dura muito ou sequer vai para frente.
Quase sempre, eu acabo demonstrando bem mais do que a pessoa durante a relação, e isso acaba me chateando também.
Não sei o que tenho de errado. Às vezes, sinto que não sou uma pessoa tão interessante e que acabo não despertando interesse suficiente para a pessoa permanecer. Ou, então, penso que talvez eu não seja uma pessoa tão bonita assim.
Estou pensando em me isolar e esquecer isso. Estou perdendo, gradativamente, o interesse em relações.
