How is Gen Z supposed to deal with GPA requirements for jobs and other opportunities going up?

It's kinda crazy that so many teachers and professors say Gen Z is stupid or don't care about school when academic requirements for jobs are going up and up. For Army OCS selection, the average GPA of candidates that were accepted is 3.85. That's insane considering the fact that the army is the branch with the lowest standards. You need an even higher GPA to get into the Navy or Air Force. People used to say Cs are an average grade and don't understand why younger people are freaking out about getting Cs. At the Naval Academy, a guy with a 2.7 GPA would be considered at the bottom of the class. In almost any college in America now, getting Bs and Cs means you are in the bottom 10-20%, and you are not average. It's just so frustrating when the system is setup so that there is no room for error when it comes to grades.
