I’m currently in Germany on a student visa and I want to work for Uber Eats using an e-bike. However, when I applied through the Uber Eats app, they asked me to upload a document called “Arbeitsberechtigungsdokumente,” which I assume is a work permit. I’m a bit confused because I’ve only been here for about two months, and I’m not sure where to get this document.

What’s confusing me even more is that my passport already has an extra page with my visa that clearly states my allowed working hours and limits. Isn’t that enough to work anywhere? A few days ago, I also received my tax ID by mail.

If anyone has experience with this or knows how I can resolve this situation, I’d really appreciate your advice. I’m stuck and confused right now.
