Her friend thinks he’s full of shit, but Mariah brushes it off because she’s already in deep. He interrupts on the other line and says he’s running late. She gets a little suspicious, he brushes it off sweet talking her, she falls for it, giggles and hangs up.

Lambs can we find and jump this man please 🥺… looking back at all of her reviews, most critics hated Mariah and I truly think it was because they all thought of her as a Whitney rehash. I would argue she didn’t start getting respect until 2018 in terms of critical acclaim

Lambs, how unrealistic would this be for MC40 if her team decides to step up…

I think mariahs cover choices were OK. Without you is amazing, I still believe is sublime. Was never big on against all odds I thought it was just a cash grab like open arms (which I love) for another without you moment 😭 BUT I do think there’s some songs I would’ve loved to hear her cover and here’s some of them and the era I would picture.

Woman in love — Butterfly/#1s…

If I had to pick one definite it would be a slow but progressively dramatic power ballad/rnb version of woman in love with Kelly price on the backgrounds 😍 Very similar to Allures version of all cried up

what other songs would u have liked to hear

Unpopular opinion, music box would be mariahs best album if the tracklist was rearranged. Listen to it in THIS order and your life will be changed… the magnum opus that slipped away.
