Is 8gb RAM still enough on a used MacBook for normal work?

Maybe I'm overthinking this, but every used MacBook I find in my budget seems to have 8gb RAM. Some people act like 8GB is totally fine. Other people make it sound unusable. for people actually using one every day, how's it holding up?

What do you look for before trusting a cleaning service in your home?

I've been thinking about hiring a cleaning service for the first time and honestly the cleaning part isn't what I'm worried about. The bigger thing for me is letting people into my house when I'm not there.

For those who've used cleaners around Nampa or the Boise area, what made you feel comfortable enough to trust someone with access to your home?

Is a 4-year EB-3 timeline realistic in today’s market?

What’s making me rethink everything lately is how many people say they started looking into EB-3 too late.

I’m still on OPT, and at first 3-4 years sounded completely insane to me. But after reading more about labor certification, visa bulletin backlogs, and how employer-sponsored green card cases actually move, I’m starting to understand why people say planning early matters so much.

For people already in the process, does the current EB-3 timeline really average around 4 years? And did anything about the process move faster or slower than you originally expected?
