This action is trying to share 11 Contact items…
do any of you who use the vCard “choose from list” method run into this error when the name text output of the the selected item is passed to another shortcut, and if you loop that action 11 times it says it’s trying to share too many contact items.
i know i can allow this in the settings, but i want to understand why this is happening and fix it because it shouldn’t be happening to begin with.
it’s like the whole contact data of the selected item (name, org, and photo) is getting passed to the next action instead of just the text of the name of the contact.
i verified this by saving only the name text of the selected item to a file and when the allow window pops up, it’s trying to save the contact as a whole. i imagine looping it is whats is making it “large amounts of data” because of base64 encoded PNGs, but it shouldn’t be passing that data onto the next action in the first place!!! it’s driving me nuts.
does this make sense to anyone???
