Too much movement in Apex

Just for context I'm a Month 2 Apex player, gotten masters like 12 times, I'm not terrible at the game and understand how to play it at a decently high level.
That being said, does anyone else think the movement has been tuned up too high? I'm sure this post has been made before but I don't use reddit often.
I love Pathy, think Ash is in a good place now, even Sparrow feels balanced. But this emphasis that Apex has to be this super fast, twitchy movement shooter like Titan Fall is kinda getting less and less fun to play. Apex released as a grounded, more tactical version of Titan Fall but now it feels like they're just turning it into Titan Fall since they won't make Titan Fall 3.
On top of that, there's legends like Bloodhound who are basically useless at this point, due to the meta being hard movement for like the last 10-15 seasons. Again, I don't mind movement but at some point the devs need to understand movement isnt the end all be all of fun in this game.
Axle being able to move at Octane level speed while sliding and shooting, when you're stuck in place, standing still just doesn't feel like Apex anymore. Its the same if not worse back when Horizon could use her Q and had no aim penalty.
Ranked at this point is just people playing it like it's Wildcard. All of these wacky over the top abilities have made the game more ability based than gun skill based.
I just hate how the only progression or real innovation this game has had to its gameplay is making the characters abilities even stronger (support meta a few seasons ago, Ash getting two dashes, Axle, etc), rather than making more unique game modes, different ranked modes, smaller 6v6 type maps, community modes and maps, and legends that aren't able to move to do a NASCAR drive by on you. Even Wildcard for me is just mindless ape everything, take a zip rail, take gravity launch, ape, ape, ape, with no strategy or thinking. I guess my main point is I miss when Apex felt more tactical and a bit slower and I wish they would implement game modes or ways to play the game how it was back in Seasons 1-5.
Maybe I'm burnt out on Apex and getting old, but this game just feels like such a chore to play at this point.
