I’ve always had a natural love for UKG and have always dreamed of making, releasing and playing my own tracks at gigs. I always saw it as unrealistic, but now that I am older I feel like it’d be a great hobby/craft to get into. Two things:

1. Am I past the age where I can get into it and get somewhere with it? (performing and finding success in the community?)
2. What do I need to start and how should I start? Should I splurge on Ableton Suite and purchase a a quality midi controller? or should I start small and just play around on the trial version of ableton for awhile?
