I put in a time off request months ago and it keeps getting denied, even if I have verbal approval from a manager
So I'm going on a trip the first week of October and I put in a time off request for it in April or early May, it got denied originally a little bit later so I asked a manager about it and he said that the ai running the app was malfunctioning and it denied a lot of time off requests, he said I was okay to buy my plane tickets and that I would be able to take those days off just as long as I reminded him when it got closer to the date, so I get the plane tickets, I make all the reservations and I put in another time off request so he could approve it.
Just today I reminded him about it and he said he would go and approve it when he had free time, later I received a notification that my time off had been denied, even after I talked to my manager about it, is this just the ai screwing up again or do you think I should ask him again? Do you think he decided to deny it himself even after he told me I would be fine to take those days off?
I'm so confused
