Just discovered this game a few days ago, downloaded it, and going to start it after work. I saw post on here earlier about a noivern getting hit by earthquake and from what little I could gather from the comments at the time it seemed like it was an intentional part of the game. Saved the post to go back at a later time (now) for a clearer answer, but I think it was deleted. Can anyone explain what was happening?

Secondary question, starter recommendations. All three of them look fun and I can’t decide.

Thursday I was subbing at a school I frequent and haven’t had any problems with. Handed out the worksheets the teacher left and heard some music coming from a phone, this school has a strict no phone policy. I told the student to put his phone away, then counted 7 other students all making phone calls with each other (you could hear the echo of a student talking then the voice coming from a speaker).

Tried being the nice sub and giving another warning, but they started texting in a group chat. It was clear this class wasn’t going to listen so I was firm with the class and said that if this was going to continue to be a problem we’d call admin down. Class was quiet for a bit, but then I noticed 6 of the problem students holding their phones like they were recording. Called admin and he removed them and asked me what was happening. Not other issues rest of the block.

End of class 1 of those students comes back and I overhear him telling someone that he got his phone confiscated and the other 5 that were removed all got suspended, don’t know if it was ISS or OSS. The AP later came by and asked a few follow up questions about things they had said that might lead to consequences for other students in the class. Before he left he told me “I think you handled it well” which felt good to hear since I’m trying to put my name out to the schools around me for full time teaching positions. Anyway just wanted to share.

TLDR- most likely got 5 students suspended because they were using their phones.
