I’m new to Unbound, it’s my first ROM and just wanna make sure this isn’t a problem with how I downloaded it lol

Wir arbeiten an einer vollständigen deutschen Übersetzung von **Pokémon Unbound** (Fan-Projekt, Original von Skeli). Am **08.10.** erscheint die erste öffentliche **Beta** als `.bps`-Patch – keine ROM enthalten, eigene legale Basis-ROM nötig.

Stand heute:

- Story, Dialoge, Kampftexte, Menüs und Beschreibungen sind auf Deutsch (offizielle deutsche Pokémon-Begriffe)

- Kampf-Anzeige „KP“, Trainerpass, Orden-Seite und weitere Grafiken bereits deutsch

- automatische Prüfung auf Textbreite und Zeilenumbrüche, Test-Bot spielt Szenen selbstständig durch

Die Übersetzung ist KI-gestützt. Gerade deshalb suchen wir jetzt Tester und Sprach-Prüfer, damit es nicht nur korrekt, sondern auch menschlich und natürlich klingt. Jede Rückmeldung fließt direkt ein.

Für alle, die Pokémon lieber mit den deutschen Pokémon-, Attacken-, Item- und Fähigkeitennamen spielen: Am 08.10. veröffentlichen wir die erste öffentliche Beta unserer deutschen Fanübersetzung von Pokémon Unbound.

Aktuell sind rund 17.000 Texteinträge verarbeitet; Story, NPC-Dialoge, Kampftexte, Menüs, Items, Attacken und große Teile der Benutzeroberfläche sind bereits auf Deutsch. Die Beta ist ausdrücklich noch nicht „fertig“ – wir suchen deutschsprachige Spieler, die Formulierungen, Terminologie und Textboxen mitprüfen.

Verteilt wird ausschließlich ein BPS-Patch, keine ROM.

Mich würde besonders interessieren: Welche der Formulierungen auf den Screenshots klingt für euch noch nicht nach einem offiziellen Pokémon-Spiel?

First time playing Unbound, currently playing on difficult, was mega chuffed with my team so far. But a lovely spanner has been thrown into the works. I’ve caught a shiny Purrloin. And legally now it must enter my team, who would you swap out for it?

Attached is my current team, I just reached Victory Road. In addition I'm quite attached to Altaria but she isn't on the team rn (I also have a +SpA -Spe Gengar I like but he's turning out pretty eh). I'm looking for a viable moveset and some team ideas for the E4 to come ! Thank you !

Long Story: A few months ago, I became a dad and was finding it difficult to spend any kind of time gaming on my pc/ps5, so I went and bought myself a mobile controller after watching some guys on yt talk about how its convenient and stuff.

The entire reason for buying the controller was to play some games off my pc/ps5 libraries, but that didn’t go so well upon trying. I was always too tired to play something intense.

So I thought I would play some pokemon games on an emulator as these were the ones that actually brought me joy as a kid.

I have played pokemon games since my childhood (Pokemon Crater, Fire Red, Leaf Green, Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, Crystal, and even some Pokemon Go over the years), and I loved them all.

2/8 of those had no story; Gen 3 games had the best story ~ Emerald being my personal favourite growing up. I haven’t played anything after Gen 3, simply because my family couldn’t afford the next-gen Nintendo console back then, and there weren’t any great emulators for it at least to my knowledge. That inaccessibility cut me off from the franchise.

I came across this rom while trying to decide which of the official games I should start playing. Every comment or post surrounding this game was positive. The summary was enticing as well. So I went and downloaded it.

I had forgotten how and why I love these games, and Pokemon Unbound reminded me exactly about all those things.

Everything about this game is amazing!

The story is as good or even better than Emerald’s for me ~ I just wish there was more of it before becoming champion.

The music, the map, the hilarious dialogues, the mods for convenience, the challenging battles, puzzles, everything.

This is a better game than any of the official pokemon games that I have played so far.

I haven’t enjoyed relaxed gaming sessions so much since forever. When everything around me is changing so fast, this game slowed it down for me and helped me cope with life.

I am now looking forward to the post-game content and learning more about the Gen 4-8 Pokemon ❤️ I hope there is more to come from this team.

This game will never be forgotten by me.

Short version: I loved the game, it’s perfect and better than anything official. It got me through a difficult time and revived my love for the franchise. Also I finally became Borrius’ Champion. :)

Took me a while from my last mono.

So I have been doing all shiny monotypes, and I have been enjoying it—really taking my time. Fairy next?

When I plug in the ups file from the zip folder and the fire red squirrels rom into macro, the file i download is just a fire red rom. When i plug that file into delta, the game I get is fire red, should both of the boxes be green? Am i doing something wrong? Im on Ios btw.

update: fixed the issue. this was the correct setup the whole time, just uploaded the wrong file to delta. thanks for all the help!

Oh my lord I finally did it. After getting destroyed by the e4 over and over again I finally managed to beat the league on expert difficulty. Absolute shoutout to ferrothorn. It was the first time I ever used that mon and his leech seed/iron barbs combo stalled me through 3 of the 5 wins. Drapion was a waste of a slot since poison spikes doesn’t even work on expert difficulty? Finally shoutout to aurora veil alohan ninetails, she’s the only reason I made it this far and 100% accurate blizzard is absolutely diabolical

Running on manic emulator on my iPhone 14. Never have had a problem with the game crashing up to this point and now I’m stuck and can’t get out of the gym. Any idea what I can do to get out of this? I don’t have any previous save states I can resort to
