Who would you swap out?

First time playing Unbound, currently playing on difficult, was mega chuffed with my team so far. But a lovely spanner has been thrown into the works. I’ve caught a shiny Purrloin. And legally now it must enter my team, who would you swap out for it?

Hooked on Emerland; but what next?

Recently got Everdell Emerland, it’s my first Everdell game and I LOVE IT. It scratches such an itch, I love the worker placement, building your city, using harps and digging for artefacts.

From doing research after playing it a bunch, I found out it’s a spin off, and that the OG has like 10+ expansions and there are two other spin offs currently.

My question is, which Everdell would you also recommend next (if any) that’s different enough to warrant the purchase. I adore the art style of Emerland and the more recent spin offs. Are there any spin offs you would reccomend or maybe base games with expansions, or would I be best looking to another game entirely if they’re all too similar?

Any advice would be appreciated!!!

Blood test is 2 weeks away, how do I eat gluten without feeling horrible?

Hi,

After having a camera down my throat I now have a blood test to confirm if I am coeliac, but it’s in two weeks time, which is where my issue is.

As symptoms go I have been having gut issues for a long time but somewhat recently (last 5 days) I’ve been having long tension headaches that haven’t really gone away with water and paracetamol/ibuprofen, they just fade after a couple hours alongside heavy fatigue.

From reading online on the nhs website, I shouldn’t alter my diet and stop eating gluten before my test, but I’ve been feeling awful and have had to call in sick into work, which is not really sustainable for the next two weeks. What should I do? Can I reduce gluten overall but like microdose it? Do I just call my gp persistently praying they can move it closer?

Any kind of advice would go along way, feel like I may be panicking. I apologise if this is something that comes up a lot in the subreddit, you can probably tell I’m new here 😅.

Many thanks

Amp for Active Speakers?

Hi, I recently got a Soundlab G053H Turntable and Edifier r1000t4 active speakers.

When I connected to the turntable the speakers were at half volume and there was static, I’ve since got a grounding cable which has helped with the static but not with the volume issue.

When connected to a pc the speakers can go loud! But not when connected to the record player.

This makes me think I need an amp, but everywhere online says don’t use an amp with active speakers?

Any help with this would be ace, ty!
