Its a good distraction from life tho. Best $15 dollars ever spent. I think I am officially a closet aimtrainer main. Why are overwatch queue times so long...

Am I crazy or am I on the path to becoming Matty 2.0?????

Idk if this is bad but I may or may not have to hide my kovaaks grinding from my scrim team lol. In fact this post probably puts me in danger from my duo

Is it more optimal for learning to emphasise mouse control or target reading as your limiting factor when practicing?

Not sure if that title made much sense but I was reading someones comment that I thought deserved more discussion.

Basically their idea was you can:

  1. play a larger/slower controlsphere variant with a faster sensitivity

--> to isolate your mouse control as the limiting factor (rather than target reading skills)

  1. play a faster/smaller controlsphere variant with a slower sensitivity

--> to isolate your target reading skills as the limiting factor (rather than mouse control)

Iv done something like this in the past and ik Serf has his method(s) that kind of manipulate this sort of thing.

But I was wondering what others thought on how this could actually be implemented in practice and whether one is more beneficial?

I have had pretty slow progress recently and I feel that its maybe bc my mouse control for so long has been my limiting factor so I havent really taken the chance to try improve my reading skills as much (bc I cant easily track elite S5 controlsphere rn with my current mousecontrol but I can if I make it bigger/slower or slow my sensitivity)

hypothetically if somebody accidentally neglected training their arm/shoulder or their fingertip mouse control but reached a high level anyway, how long would it take to catch up the neglected area?

Now I definitely didnt do this by accident...

Anyway, lets say somebody achieved something like velevet complete / gm voltaic equivalent of mouse control.

But mainly (within reason) neglected either their finger tip mouse control or arm/shoulder mouse control such that the neglected area was closer to skill to a VT gold equivalent.

How long would it take to catch up the neglected area to the rest of their skill level?

What would be the best way to achieve this? Would it be spamming either wide wall clicking/switching scenarios and 360 degree tracking scenarios at like 90cm/360 for arm/shoulder and vice versa for fingertips?

Why do you think people care so much that some high rank aim trainer mains are not equally elite at “real” fps games? Do you think it’s a problem?

hey guys, basically just the question in the title. I started to think abt this from that other post with the funny progression from 2022-2026 and wanted to know what ppl think.

im a bit like biased I think bc I was pretty good at fps games before I started aim training, (and am still good/definitely better after a few years of aimtraining) so maybe I don’t rlly see kovaaks as ONLY a way to improve your aim but also a way to enjoy improving yourself.

I don’t really see issue w being bad at games and good at aim trainers. But I can’t help but see people get so worked up abt it. to me it just indicates they haven’t spent any/enough time learning the game. I personally have noticed it transfers quite well.

like from an anecdotal personal perspective iv noticed that the days where I spend hours and hours aimtraining, (but also still playing overwatch) my aim (and subsequent performance) in my gm/champ overwatch scrims is definitely better than periods where I spend less time aimtraining and more in game.
