Without Doxy
Did anybody here clear theirs without Doxy? I already have a very sensitive gut and stomach issues. My doctor thinks it could make it worse instead of better in the long run if this is tied to my gut inflammation

Hi guys! I have POD and have yet to find a long term fix. However, if I only had info about it from this subreddit, I feel I would be very depressed.
POD is not always forever. My sister in law had it on and off for 2 years and it disappeared one day. It has been 15 years since this happened. My dermatologist also had it, and said she also has not had reoccurrence in over a decade.
Try to remember most of the people in this subreddit are frustrated, depressed, scared. It is very possible for it to go into remission for very long periods. Whether they will ever get it again, I cannot say. But if one person’s can heal forever, yours can too.
Anybody who has hopeful stories please share. This subreddit is flooded and people often comment “it never goes away” as if that’s a fact for everyone.
Also remember that the term “chronic” in the dermatology world is anything that lasts 6 weeks or longer, it does not mean definitely lifelong.
Happy healing everyone ❤️ I feel for each and every one of you. This is hard.
Is anyone here on 40mg doxycycline indefinitely? I have both rosacea and perioral dermatitis. I got both around the same time and it’s been a nightmare. Doxy 100 clears me of both completely, but I know that’s too high of a dose long term. My derm said we will move to 40 and stay there. Anybody else do this?
Hey all. I am awaiting approval to take the NCMHCE to gain my LCPC.
Once I have my LCPC, what are the requirements to become an approved supervisor of other LPCs? To sign off on their applications and such.
My current supervisor said I have to be licensed as a LCPC for 2 years before I can do this, but I can’t find this in the literature anywhere. The only requirement I can find is 9 hours of CE.
Thanks so much for any help!
