Am I going wrong?

27M, 105 kg, currently on generic semaglutide (GLP-1) from NATCO mainly for weight loss. My goal is to lose around 15 kg total.

I started about 5 weeks ago. My first 4 weekly injections were 0.25 mg, and this past Sunday I increased to 0.5 mg.

What’s confusing me is that I initially lost around 2 kg in the first couple of weeks, but since then my weight has mostly stayed the same. My appetite is reduced a bit, but not dramatically. I still get hungry, still think about food, and the “food noise” is definitely still there — just less intense than before.

I also work out at least 3 times a week:
- 30–45 mins cardio
- usually heart rate zone 3–4
- burning around 2300–2400 calories weekly according to WHOOP

I’m also consciously eating in a calorie deficit. Honestly, even without the GLP-1, I feel like with my current activity and intake I should still be losing at least some weight — but the scale barely moves.

So now I’m wondering:
- Is this normal during the first 5–6 weeks?
- Does semaglutide only really start working at higher doses?
- Could this be water retention, metabolism, or something else?
- Has anyone had slow progress initially and then suddenly started responding later?

Would appreciate honest experiences or advice, especially from people using semaglutide or generic versions.
