Considering an open source ERP but I'm worried about hidden implementation costs
We’re a mid-sized nonprofit with approximately 150 staff looking at Odoo and ERPNext to cut down on software licensing costs. Our internal tech team is pretty small. We can handle routine maintenance, but we know we’ll need to hire custom software development services to get the initial setup, integrations, and workflow tweaks right. For those who’ve probably already done this: how viable was it long-term? Did the implementation and vendor costs offset what you saved on licenses?
