Rainbows were active yesterday, but I always love a pretty Brown

lower elevation ~2200-2300 ft, but trekked further up the river than I've gone before.

Picture 3 and 4 is the same fish. I noticed its eye was damaged. Does anyone know if this is disease, born this way, or some river combat action with other fish/creatures? It was still healthy, kicking, and swam away happily.

Still working on capturing the best pictures without taking too long. Idk how some of you on here get the ideal shot

Walked 2-2.5 miles, caught a few brooks and then I walked another ten/fifteen minutes to a waterfall honey hole.

Had a great afternoon today. The rainbows were active. First time fly fishing in 8 years (I had kids, haha). Best therapy out there
