Bouncing to audio in Bitwig
Hi guys.
I need to conserve cpu resources for a bigger project, but bouncing doesn’t seem to work as I was expecting. I want to render a “channel” or track in its entirety to audio, then deactivate the original channel to essentially remove but keep all the midi. When I bounce I have to select the individual patterns in the track (rather than the track as a whole) and it creates a separate audio track at the -10dB ignoring any FX like delays or reverbs that occur after the midi data of each clip ends. So for example, a five second midi clip with delays and a high rate of feedback should bounce to an audio clip that is around 10 seconds to account for the FX on the track. This isn’t happening. I’m just getting the 5 seconds and then it abruptly ends, and the audio is not the same volume as the original mixed track.
Am I doing something wrong?
