I’m getting a 2026 Panigale V2 S soon and ordered it with the homologated Termignoni silencer, since the full system isn’t road legal where I live.
I heard the bike in person and I love it, but the Euro 5+ sound is obviously pretty restricted here in europe. I’m not trying to start a legal debate — I just want to understand the technical options before doing anything stupid on a brand-new bike.
A few questions:
Does the new V2/V2 S have a factory exhaust valve?
Does the homologated Termignoni get deeper/louder after some mileage, or is the difference pretty small?
Are there any clean options for a deeper sound without going full race system?
If anything around the cat/mid-pipe is changed, does it usually trigger ECU/O2 sensor issues or require mapping?
Mainly looking for input from people who own or have worked on the new V2/V2 S.
