Anyone else waiting since February/March for your tax refund?

I called twice and they said that my husband and I were randomly selected to get a deeper review, no rhyme or reason, just random lottery selected. We have fairly simple taxes, nothing crazy and yet still waiting 4 months+. Last week I received notice they need additional 60 days to review. WHAT IS GOING ON. They act like I have multiple companies in my name or something. I work one W-2 job and that's it, never been late paying my taxes ever. Is this lottery thing BS?
