I am new to collecting comics. I have always had and read comics but never really got into the exclusivity part of comics. Just picked up whatever I like and go. So i have come to ask you all questions.

How can i tell if i got a 1st print comic or is there anyway i can tell from the comic?

How do i know if it’s the first 1000 printed?

Where should i go to buy variants in general? (Currently looking for variants of absolute green arrow)

Is foil better than just plain virgin covers ?

How long do I hold on to discontinued comic and is it worth holding onto?
