Its my 3rd knife and haven't heat treated yet. He knife is pretty big 32cm/12.5inch long, 1075 steel.
The bevels are shit but im learning alot and one thing this knife is making consider is beveling cause it seems I haven't put much thought into them.
Like it looks(is) shit but wouldn't the bevel line disappear when I start sanding it with high grits (after heat treating and hardening)?
Im using 1 x 30 inch belt sander so any advice for grinding long knives is welcome! I've watched a couple of videos on beveling so im like, 40% sure i know what im doing.
Also what i want to know is if this shitty bevel will impact the practicality of the knife? I got a couple of wet stones so im a tiny bit worried about how itll affect the sharpness and cutting?
