Bought a pair of New Balance shoes on Vinted listed as UK 8.5. Seller ignored my messages before shipping, but I didn’t think much of it.
Shoes arrive and they’re literally UK 10.5 💀
Then I scanned the QR code inside the shoe to check authenticity and it took me to some random website instead of the official New Balance page.
I opened a case with Vinted straight away and only after that I noticed the seller had updated their bio to something like:
“I work for a sister business that samples New Balance materials… some pairs may have wrong tags… no refunds or returns.”
Which honestly made the whole thing feel even more sketchy.
Seller still never replied to any of my messages. Vinted told me to return the shoes, so I did and now the seller still hasn’t even gone to collect the parcel 😭
At this point it genuinely feels like they’re just delaying everything on purpose.
Has anyone else dealt with sellers like this on Vinted? Did you still end up getting refunded?
