My art, inspired by an ABSOLUTELY heartbreaking scene in Tsukiotoshi-hen
were Rena and Keiichi kill Mion that pretended to be Shion
Tatarigoroshi have no logic
It's only now that I understand... If Satoko didn't go to the festival, and Keichi called Teppei to lure him out of the house under the pretext that Satoko was at the police station, then how could he go? Is he really that stupid? After all, Satoko was right ahead of his eyes!
Mion's total humiliation
Mion is such a cuck that in the manga adaptation of Higurashi Sotsu they even took away her only time she went crazy and gave it to Shion.
Now, according to the lore, it’s Shion pretending to be her when she kills Rika and locks Keiichi in the cage. The love confession to Keiichi is also Shion.
At least Ryukishi stuck to the tradition of never making Mion an aggressor or a killer.
Mion is the figure of Christ in Higurashi?!
As you may have noticed, I love martyr figures. And if no explanation is needed in the case of our Savior, then the martyrdom of Mion Sonozaki needs to be clarified in more detail. To begin with, Mion is perhaps the most positive, kind, and merciful character in higurashi. She is no stranger to such Christian virtues as patience, caring, courage and mercy. Jesus of Nazareth said, "Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one's life for one's friends." (Jh. 15:13), which she almost did in chapter 8 of higurashi, when Takano pointed a gun at her friends and Mion was ready to protect them with her body. Now that we have seen her as a Christian figure of the righteous, it is time to talk about her as a figure of the martyr. Throughout the 8 chapters of higurashi, no character undergoes so much suffering, expressed both by K1's cruelty and her sister Shion's resentment. Her friend Satoko was crucified, and K1 Shion intended to stick nails in her hands. Here we see direct parallels with the gospel. In this context, Shion appears as Judas, Pilate, and Longinus at the same time. In a way, this is a deconstruction of the gospel, where instead of Christ, his disciples were executed, and he himself could only watch. Of course, Mion is far from Jesus, and she is far from being as chaste as she is, leaning towards physicality with K1. However, it is impossible to ignore the common motives of the cruel and unfair teachings to which the best representatives of our species have been subjected. In this context, it can be confidently stated that Mion is the most Christian figure in Higurashi, even if she is a pagan. However, as St. paul said, "When gentiles, who do not possess the law, by nature do what the law requires, these, though not having the law, are a law unto themselves. They show that what the law requires is written on their hearts, as their own conscience also bears witness, and their conflicting thoughts will accuse or perhaps excuse them" (Rom. 2:14-15)
A relationship that I'm afraid of missing out on
With all my love and respect to my beloved Mion...
...but it' Watanagashi plot in nutshell
Higurashi Characters Tier-List by their complexity and development

About Mion and her identity..
I strongly disagree with the concept that Mion wants to be a guy in the literal sense of the word. Well, the fact is that many people take her desire to be a boy too literally, while she said that phrase rather to defuse the situation after Keichi didn't give her that doll. Moreover, if mion really felt like a guy, she would not have been hurt by the fact that Keichi did not hand her a doll, thereby denying her femininity, at least in Mion's own understanding. Some people go so far in theories about Mion's male identity that they begin to believe that she feels like a guy, but she is forced to behave like a girl and mion specifically disguises Keichi as a girl so that he can feel her suffering from being forced to pretend to be a woman. I still think that the point here is that Mion herself has a tomboy character multiplied by the fact that she has to take on the role of a leader, which by default implies a male behavioral model. In short, it seems to her that if she were a guy, she would have fewer problems with society accepting her behavior that does not meet the expectations that are placed on girls. well, that is, she has no problems with her gender. regarding Keichi and the doll, she really has a feminine side and wants to reveal it and be loved not only as a friend and uncle mion, but also as a girl, and therefore she is hurt by Keichi's attitude towards her as a guy. that is, Mion considers herself a girl and not a guy and does not want to be one, and moreover she does not want to give up her femininity. Mion's problem is reversed: She is feminine and wants others to see her as such, however, due to the tomboyish traits of her character, her feminine nature fades into the background and she is often overlooked, which traumatizes Mion in the case of Keichi.
