I was playing Super Mario Galaxy 2 on the Switch 2 digital version - hunting for green stars in Bowser’s Lava Lair - when something strange happened. After being hit by a fire ball I jumped to grab the 6 life mushroom, but I grabbed it the second I fell off the platform and was about to fall into lava. I spammed the Y button (spin button) on my pro controller so that when the freeze frame was over I could spin back up and attempt to avoid the lava. Upon exiting the freeze frames from getting the mushroom, (while I was still spamming Y) I preformed 2 spin jumps back to back. I don’t know if this is widely known and I’m just dumb, but I’ve never seen this happened before and thought it was worth sharing.
NOTE: I WAS PLAYING AS LUIGI
