We are looking to renovate our guest bathroom to modernize and make it more friendly for bath time for our ~2 year old daughter and planning for another kid next year. Our existing floorplan is a bit awkward (see 1st schematic/photo) and we'd ideally like to add a double vanity.

Our contractor proposed the 2nd schematic floor plan to move the bath/shower to the back wall, but not sure if there is enough room for the toilet in between the double vanity and shower. Is the 2nd schematic feasible or should we aim for a more compact double vanity (e.g., 2 faucet trough <60 inches in length)?

Open to any suggestions (including outside of floorplan) and happy to answer any clarifying questions!
